Planning the perfect Easter menu

Easter is just around the corner, and whether you’re planning a small family dinner or a crowd-pleasing feast, hosting the perfect Easter get-to-together can be a bit daunting… One thing is having to decide between ham and lamb (unreasonable, we know). Another is the shopping, cooking, decorating and egg hunting that comes with it too.

To make things just a little eas(t)ier for you, we’ve put together a few recipes that make up a full Easter menu.

Appetizer

Zucchini, cheese and mint fritters. This appetizer is the perfect Easter table companion! It’s light, tasty and topped with ham. And as a bonus: It leaves you with eggshells that can be used for décor later. If fritters aren’t really your cup of tea, this grilled zucchini salad makes a great alternative within lighter servings.

Main

Since we have the ham covered already, let’s move on to the lamb. Lamb wraps might not be the traditional Easter choice, but we promise it’s a good one. If you opt for a little more traditional main, you might want to go with this melt-in-your-mouth pulled lamb shoulder.

Dessert

Aaah, dessert time! Easter and spring happen to coincidence. This means that the very early strawberry season has begun. Aaand, that in turn means that the strawberry cheesecake season has also begun. Yummy. Alternatively, this pavlova with strawberries and passionfruit will definitely do.

Happy Easter!
