Juicy summer salad

Ingredients

Salad

Dressing

  • 0.5 lime fruit
  • 3 tsp virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seed (Optional)

Twist

Add the spicy cheese cubes with red peppers & chili to round off the fruity acidity of the salad

Serving

Serve the summer salad on a deep plate or bowl. A fresh whole grain bread matches perfectly with this salad

This juciy summer salad with strawberry, watermelon and spicy white cheese, could be a perfect match for grilled meat, lunch or as part of a tapas menu.

Dressing

Take the zest of ½ Lime and squeeze the juice out in a small bowl. Grate the garlic and add it to the lime juice along with the olive oil and blend together. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper and bring to your taste.

Salad

Wash the strawberries, take off the green and slice them thinly. Cut the watermelon into smaller pieces (triangle slices work visible well). Remove the stone from the avocado and cut it in thin slices before placing it together with the watermelon and strawberries in a serving bowl. Take off the leaves of the mint and causally chop them before adding to the salad. Pour the dressing over the salad, add the Apetina® Red pepper & Chili Cubes and toss gently. Finish the salad with roasted sesam seeds.
